About Delhi Technological University (DTU)
Formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi Technological University (DTU) was established in 1941. It is a state university located in Rohini, Delhi, and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Initially established as Delhi Polytechnic, it started awarding degrees in 1952 after being affiliated with the University of Delhi. In 2009, DTU was given university status, and its name was changed from Delhi College of Engineering to Delhi Technological University.
